Sydney Watson, who describes herself as Australian/american politician commentator, posted on Twitter on Monday claiming she was “literally – STUCK between two OBESE people on my flight.”
“This is absolutely NOT acceptable or okay. If fat people want to be fat, that’s fine. But it’s a whole different thing when I’m stuck between you guys, with your arm rolling around my body, for 3 hours,” Watson said.
In the tweet thread, Watson said that “if you need a seatbelt extender, you’re TOO FAT TO BE ON A PLANE.”

“Buy two seats or don’t fly,” Watson added.
Watson said the stewardess on the plane “has asked me 4 times if I need anything” and gave him “the pitying ‘this is fucked up’ expression.”
According to Watson, she asked the brother of one of the women she was sitting next to if he would like to “swap seats”.
“He’s like, ‘no. It’s fine :)’…and then I started screaming internally,” Watson said.
“I don’t care if this is bad. My whole body is being touched against my wishes. I can’t even put the armrests on either side because there’s no room. I’m sick of acting fat to this point. It’s normal. Let me assure you.” which is not,” he said.

“Holy crap,” Watson said of American Airlines in response to his experience.
“This is really his official response to me being sandwiched between two obese humans,” Watson said. “So I’m only expected to have a quarter seat when I fly? I’ve just experienced sweating, touching myself without my consent, punching myself in the face, and being put through hours with no personal space. And your answer is essentially ‘too bad’? Is it Is that what I’m getting here?” Watson said.
At one point during the flightWatson said he “chose to close my tray table and hold my teacup between my teeth because it’s poking his belly and I can’t get it down properly.”

In response to media coverage of his experience, Watson said he stands behind “everything I said” and tweeted “I’d like some repairs please.”
