One of the most compelling rumors to emerge lately is the claim that the The iPhone 14 Pro will have an always-on display.

¿Why is it so important? Well, it would give the iPhone 14 Pro the scope to further challenge some of the The best Android phones around, as well as offering a much neater way of viewing information at a glance. Phone writer Richard Priday has chewed all iPhone 14 always-on display rumors so far.

To help you break down some breaking rumors around the iPhone14, editor Kate Kozuch has put together a video that pulls together some of the best facts we’ve seen.

Check out below. Oh, and please like and subscribe!

Based on the rumored specs for the iPhone 14 Pro, it looks like the next-gen iPhone, with the only question being whether 6.1-inches is enough, or if you want a bigger 6.7-inch screen.

Nevertheless, we don’t think you should ditch the standard iPhone 14 entirely.

As managing editor and phone expert Philip Michaels comments: “The importance of getting all the valuable things the iPhone 14 promises (great cameras, solid performance, stellar design) without paying more for the privilege can’t be overstated, especially at a time when prices are skyrocketing all around us.

“The iPhone 14 Pro may be getting some impressive improvements, but in this environment, the attractive price of the iPhone 14 could end up being the most attractive feature of all.”

Speaking of options and specs, we’ve put together a table of specs for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max based on the rumors so far.

With the exception of screen size and battery, the two phones look very similar. It’s the same as with the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, but unlike the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 ProMaxwhich had different camera capabilities.

See the list of specifications below.

iPhone 14 Pro iPhone 14 ProMax
Screen size 6.1 inches 6.7 inches
Update frequency 1-120Hz 1-120Hz

But one way Apple could justify a price increase for the iPhone 14 Pro at least, could be a new entry-level tier of storage. According to some rumours, the The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro max will start with 256 GB of storage space instead of 128GB.

Nevertheless, this iPhone 14 Pro storage boost has been shot down in a report by Haitong International analyst Jeff Pu, who claims that Apple will keep the storage the same as with the iPhone 13 Prowhich means sticking with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options.

Camera upgrades are all well and good, but one of the worrying rumors going around is how the iPhone 14 range will be more expensive than the iPhone 13 rangeand Pro phones will go up $100.

But the market intelligence firm TrendForce (opens in a new tab) has predicted that the jump in price will not be too severe, but rather that prices will increase by $50. Supposedly, this will be a means for Apple to be more cautious with prices when global inflation rises. We’re not sure how much we’re buying into that, but we’d rather not see prices go up, especially if the standard iPhone 14 doesn’t change much.

Just got in! A new rumor of the iPhone 14 Pro. This time it is an image of what is said to be an iPhone 14 Pro case on an iPhone 14 ProAnd the big plus is that the next-gen iPhone’s camera lenses could be noticeably larger than those on current Pro phones.

What does it means in practical terms? Well, larger lenses can let in more light and that can mean a phone’s cameras capture more detail. With the iPhone 14 Pro already tipped to get a 48MP main cameraletting in more light and powering low-light photography as well, I could see it as the best of our best camera phone ready; although we would have to subject it to some tests before drawing conclusions.

As for the Apple Watch 8 itself, we don’t expect to see a lot of big changes, but a Pro model has been proposed.

And judging by some purported leaked case photos, it appears that the apple watch 8 pro it’s going to be a seriously tough smartwatch capable of withstanding the elements and rigorous outdoor activities while offering access to a suite of os 9 clock features. That will likely be thanks to buttons and a titanium build by default.

Moving away from iPhones, we expect to see at least two new Apple Watch models on Wednesday. But there is also the Apple Watch SE 2 who can make an appearance.

This would be a replacement for the Apple Watch SEApple’s cheapest smartwatch, but it could also spells the end of the Apple Watch 3which looks like it’s going to be removed this week.

If you’re wondering whether you should be ready to buy the iPhone 14 when it launches, or wait 12 months and get a iPhone 15then phone writer Richard Priday has chewed the iPhone 14 vs. iPhone 15.

It looks like the iPhone 14 Pro will be the phone to get. But if you’re in a iPhone 13 Proyou might want to consider waiting, as the 2023 iPhone model could bring some big changes, like USB-C connectivity and a periscope camera.

one of the keys iPhone 14 Rumors are that the standard models will stay with the current A15 processor, but that the Pro models will get a new one. A16 bionic chip.

However, we have now heard a new variation on this theme, namely that the The A15 chip in the iPhone 14 will be an improved version.

This is according to Wall Street Journal (opens in a new tab), citing “people familiar with the plans.” There is no indication how the A15 will be improved, but we assume that it will offer slightly better performance than the iPhone 13 Pro Y iPhone 13 ProMaxwhich offered an additional GPU core compared to the A15 used in the base iPhone 13 and iPhone 13mini.

The dual-chip approach is one we’ve already heard a lot about. For example, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has also hinted Normal iPhone 14s to continue with A15while the Pro models get an upgrade.

On the one hand, this would be a disappointment: Apple almost always puts new chips inside new phones. But on the other hand, it could be argued that the A15 Bionic is so powerful that having it on the iPhone 14 will not be bad at all in any case. And if the version of the A15 used is more powerful than that of the iPhone 13, there is less reason to worry.

One of the latest rumors that emerged before the Apple event concerns a battery booster for the iPhone 14 Pro range.

That’s according to well-connected Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, who writes in his ignition bulletin (opens in a new tab) that “beyond the notch, I’m told to expect the iPhone 14 Pro models to look slightly larger overall and include slimmer bezels. They will also have bigger batteries.”

Slimmer bezels are nice, but a battery booster could help the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro max earn a spot on our list. best phone battery life list, replacing the iPhone 13 ProMax Y iPhone 13 Pro respectively.
