you’ve probably heard that scarlet and violet pokemon were released in… a a little of a state. Although that may be a huge disappointment for most people who spend nearly $100 on the game, it’s also been a huge source of fun on social media, where people have found the new co-op multiplayer feature to be very buggy indeed.
We’re not sure exactly what’s causing these issues, but it seems like the integration of other players into the cutscenes and walkthrough makes for a truly terrifying body of terror. There are gigantic, stretched-out human bodies, horrible arm-twisting impossibilities, and faces that go terribly wrong.

We even found a fault ourselves. It turns out that you can place the selfie camera right against a wall to get your character’s facial features just right. pop outside, creating these nightmare faces:
Even outside of multiplayer, there’s a chance for some fun/deeply disturbing stuff to happen, because it seems like Pokemon can, uh, slip into the abyss:
And many players are finding it very easy to go out of bounds themselves:
We can’t decide if we’d rather these crashes be fixed as soon as possible, or figure out how to make them happen in our game so we can join in on the fun.
