An Indonesian woman is reeling after learning her husband of 10 months is actually a woman, even though they frequently “had sex.”
The 22-year-old wife, identified only as NA, has now filed charges against her estranged spouse for the cheating.
“I am still scared. I’m shaking when I go out”, the abandoned girlfriend is quoted in a report published in the local media. News Tribune.
According to the website, NA first met her who was called Ahnaf Arrafif wife on Tantan dating app last year.
Arrafif allegedly claimed to be a doctor who was educated in New York, and the two soon hit it off via message.
The couple met in person in May 2021 after Arrafif traveled to NA’s hometown of Jambi. Arrafif proposed to her a short time later and they were married in July.

NA admitted to being intimate with her spouse during their marriage and said she believed they had engaged in penetrative sex.
However, he admitted that he was asked “not to look directly at Arrafif’s genitals” and that his eyes were “covered with a cloth” whenever things got wet.
NA also alleged that Arrafif only undressed with the lights off, so sex was “in a blackout state.” suara.com reports.

While NA’s mother was reportedly infatuated with Arrafif before the marriage, she soon became suspicious when it seemed he didn’t actually have a job.
Arrafif moved in with NA and her mother, and immediately began asking for money. In the months that followed, NA’s nosy mother became increasingly convinced that her “son-in-law” was a con artist. She too became skeptical that Arrafif was a man and tried to obtain identification papers.
Last April, he finally confronted Arrafif and ordered him to strip. At that time, Arrafif is said to have admitted to being a woman who was actually named Erayani Arrafif.

NA and her mother contacted the police and Arrafif has reportedly been charged with fraud.
The scammer admitted to police that they tricked NA into thinking he was having penetrative sex using his fingers.
It is currently unclear whether Arrafif is likely to face jail time if convicted of the fraud. A court date has not yet been announced.
